Facility is subpar and very rundown. Bathrooms are not maintained as there is dirt in the sinks. So obvious no one even checks them.
Lake is down obviously Texas is in a drought. Obstacles are not maintained and there is one that has a bottom to it that you can climb through, this obstacle is not useable as there is 4 inches of algae and toxic substance in it. I would be highly concerned if a child tried to climb through this not getting exposed to something that could potentially be life threatening. I asked if they knew and do they clean the course and was told once a year. I doubt that even happens.
Staff is very hands off and not there to make your experience a better one.
On the beginner wake board line there is no one at the entry station to teach the kids how to use the wake board or any safety briefing. There is one person manning controls about 30 ft away and will “coach” the kid but they are not verifying equipment is in working condition it fits correctly.
As we left after about an hour I spoke with the “manager” and voiced how it was disappointing that these issues with facility was happening and throughout the conversation he made lots of excuses, no action, no response to fix what was observed. It’s obvious they are just there to get your $50 a person entry fee and move you along. This place could be fun and worth the trip but IT’S NOT. Lake life is great but your money is better spent at Lake Travis. If I could give a zero star review I would.
Editing to add response to owner
Your staff did not “get my kids riding” they participated in teaching ZERO percent. Great gaslighting statement you made.
You have no idea what is in the bottom of that float because you have not attempted to have it tested. If other watering holes in Texas have been shut down for toxic algae I would think that would be a concern for you and one to not ignore as you are. There could be actions taken to remedy that but you have no intention. This is not moss and normal algae growth found in typical lake environments, this is stagnant water in a floating devise that is baking in the Texas heat growing whatever. And kids are playing in and around it.
As a business owner do better.
Quest Waterpark and Wakeboarding is a lot of fun and quite the workout! I’ve been 2 times and really enjoy the obstacle course. That’s actually the only thing we did this time. Some of the inflatables could use a little more air but you’ll have a great time. They also have a giant slide and wakeboarding that you hold on to the cables above the water. No reservations needed and it’s better and more affordable than the course on Lake Travis.
Best wakeboarding park ever! Workers and owners are really laid back and know how to teach. I was able to learn how to get up on main cable on my first try with help from jerry. I’ve been coming since i was young and this place is awesome!
The kids had fun overall and I do like that you can bring your own food and drinks as most places will not. However it is not on their site that you can bring your own vests. If you do bring one then you will be paying $8 to rent one because you have to have a vest for safety reasons (well that is what I was told). Also, if you have a group of more than 10 there for a party you still pay the regular price for everyone. Active duty military ONLY (Not retired vets) get a 20% discount but it's only for the individual person not the family.
I’m only putting one start because I have to. Very unprofessional!! I called earlier this month in regards to their business hours, everything was great now I see on the website that they are closed until next season! So I call just to verify and the person is answering and hanging up in my face REPEATEDLY and YELLING! Very rude! And if I do book I’d be asking for my money back especially after reading the latest review! Tuh when y’all remodel and rebrand THEN you can act BRAND NEW!
We had a great time wakeboarding at Quest. We went on a Friday and pretty much had the whole park to ourselves. If you're not a wakeboarder they have rope swings, a blob, and an inflatable water park. Beware the sun. There is shade provided but in a busy day it will be taken quickly. I'm sure they allow you to bring tents.
This place is awesome! I sent my kids to camp and they loved it so much I had to come try it out myself. If you want to learn to wakeboard this place is a good time!
Awsome place, have been a few times now with the kids. Always supper cool supportive staff to help them learn. There amazingly patience coaching up learners on the straight run, and talking through the transition up to the big circuit. …
